MACKEN STREET

Description:
This project consisted of the construction of three town houses. The site for this project was the former buiders yard/offices of Joe Dunne Construction. This redevelopment consisted of the demolition of the existing two-storey structure followed by C.F.A. Piles and a concrete raft base.

Following the construction of the base, the sub-structure and super-structure were built incorporating an old Irish yellow brick by tyrone brick to the front of the houses, along with a high grade of insulation throughout the three houses.

The roof structure was also insulated to a high standard and finished in slate. The windows and doors throughout the three houses were a cream double glazed Alu-Clad system supplied by rationel.

Internally, the houses were finished to a high standard incorporating stone tiles throughout the entire ground floor, along with timber floors in the bedrooms and landing. The bespoke kitchen with marble worktops and splashbacks was fitted by quality kitchens to an outstanding standard of workmanship.
